2nd grade completed their Domain unit on Ancient Greece and Greek Mythology. Students chose their favorite Greek god or goddess, then did research to learn interesting facts they could share with their classmates and parents. Great job, 2nd grade! 🇬🇷
Our Early Childhood students had an exciting experience “visiting” England in their Global Preschool Studies class! Students toured London on a red double-decker bus, learned the art of proper tea party etiquette, and imagined life as a king’s guard. They also visited the iconic London Bridge and built replicas of Stonehenge! 🇬🇧💂👑
Today in Chapel, we learned about how God sees and cares about our tears. 1st-6th grade students have been making “bottles of tears” in Bible class this week as a reminder of this comforting truth. Some 3rd grade chapel helpers showed us some scenes from the life of Jesus where we see our Savior Himself crying tears. How comforting it is to know we have a tenderhearted Savior who draws near to us when our hearts break! We are so thankful for our verse of the week, which reminds us that one day “He will wipe away every tear from our eyes” Revelation 21:4.

What an incredible morning at CMDS! We hosted our first All Pro Dad get-together and were thrilled to see over 100 dads and students come together for quality time, connection, and community.
All Pro Dad, founded by former NFL coach Tony Dungy, is all about building character and fostering meaningful conversations between dads and their kids. We’re so excited to offer this new opportunity at CMDS!
A huge thank you to CMDS dad, Dave Lew, and Buck Towner for leading today’s event and making it special.

At today’s chapel, Coach Towner shared an inspiring message on peace. He reminded us that there are many ways to experience God’s peace—through prayer, reading the Bible, showing kindness and love to others, and spending time with fellow believers. We are thankful that we get to experience God’s peace in our daily lives!
We had a Pajama Party!! What a fun morning watching some of our SK-2nd grade students take the stage in “Pajama Party the Musical!” Their enthusiasm, hard work and talent were on full display, and we couldn’t be prouder! Great job everyone! 🌟

“Blessed by Jesus” was the theme for today’s Chapel. We loved hearing from our 5th graders, who helped lead chapel today. They shared ways that God gives them peace, stories from people in the Bible who were blessed by Jesus, and the story of Pentecost. We ended chapel with the reminder that our biggest blessing of all is our gift of salvation! “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
